Weed Man UK brings to our customers and franchisees the tradition and professionalism that has helped our Canadian Colleagues since 1973, develop and create over 300 Franchise units providing professional horticultural services across the USA, Canada, Australia and now here in the United Kingdom. Our franchisees provide responsible, professional lawn care services to homeowners, needing help maintain healthy surroundings for them and their families. These include the elderly, the time - pressed, and those living in areas where horticultural challenges require specialist expertise.
The first Weed Man professional was Des Rice, founder and president of Weed Man. Des established Weed man in 1970 when he recognized the desire people had for healthy, weed and pest free lawns, and an investment to be proud of. Des
realized that establishing an effective regiment of mowing, watering and fertilising techniques established a strong healthy lawn that discouraged undesirable grasses and weeds from "grounding" themselves. His preventative approach to our everyday lawn problems have proved over time to be the most effective way of creating and maintaining a healthy, attractive lawn.
